Tucked into the mountainside in West Vail, this sprawling home offers you the ultimate basecamp for your Vail vacation. Spread your group out over 2 living areas on separate floors and 5 bedrooms, each with a full bath. If being inside is not your thing, take a step out back onto the massive patio equipped with a running fountain, hot tub, fire pit, and lounge chairs. Just 2 miles to Lionshead and 3 miles to Vail Village, you are just a quick car ride away from all that Vail has to offer. First Floor: - Large living area with floor to ceiling windows and 3 comfy sofas. - Open dining area and dining table with room for 8. - Large open kitchen with gas range, dishwasher, fridge, and double oven. - Island with seating for 6 and a wine cooler. - 1/2 bath and laundry room with a mud sink. - Access to a 2 car garage. - Patio access with gas grill. Grill has a gas connection to the house so it will never run out while you are cooking. Second Floor Bedrooms: - King bedroom and bath with back patio access through the bath. - King bedroom and bath with back patio access through the bath. - Queen bedroom and bath - Queen bedroom and bath Second Floor Additional Spaces: - Second living area with a sectional sofa and leather arm chair. - Office space with desk, chair, and a view. - Wet bar and additional laundry machines. - Back patio access. - Large landing that overlooks the downstairs living area. Great house, wonderful bedrooms, ample parking, and very good kitchen.
Great location and very spacious overall. Only a 7 min drive from lions head village which made it easy to get to the mountain. Only negative was that the kitchen wear was a little dirty but that doesn’t stop me from giving it a 5/5 would definitely recommend.
We had a nice stay overall over Christmas - the layout of the house worked well for a group and we liked the location. There are 4 bedrooms and a 5th that is a loft without a door so it did not work for our kids. The negatives are that there were many things in the house that did not work -- the disposal didn't work (although they did fix that after the first week), the appliances upstairs do not work, and the dishwasher is terrible (dirty, broken racks) and leaves a film of white dust on everything. The hot tub was also dirty when we got there (although they cleaned that during our stay). There were also no humidifiers (we bought them and left them in the house for future guests). Things like that would have been a nice touch. So overall, it's a good place to stay with good fundamentals but it needs some additional upkeep to get it to five stars.

Beautiful place and location. Several things in need of repair and updating but overall a great experience.
Had a great stay, and the home was very comfortable for our family of adult children. We all had our own bedroom/bathroom. It was spacious enough for all of us and we loved the outdoor fire pit and hot tub area. The only downside is the proximity to I-70. In the summer with the windows open, you can hear quite a bit of road noise. But otherwise it was a nice stay!

Cancellation policy
Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Vacation Vail will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Vacation Vail will match it.
